Hi Johana, yes the accents do sometimes reveal our past. I remember when I was in studying Scotland and someone came up to me and asked if I was from Zimbabwe. She actually recognized the accent in my English! (Well I am Dutch but I lived in Zimbabwe during my teen years.) Our lives and accents tell our story.
