Ich lese heraus, dass es nicht “automatisch” geht, das Hochdeutsch zu lernen, wenn man eine verwandte Sprache bzw sehr verwandten Dialekt lernt.
Bücher, Fernsehen, Filme usw sind da sehr wichtig. Wie gesagt, ich kann mich nicht mehr daran erinnern, wie genau ich Hochdeutsch gelernt hab…[Read more]

@ Hallo Juditta, Das mit Schweizterdeutsch und Hochdeutsch haben wir uns auch überlegt. Nice to hear from you. I’m fine and safe thanks, I work very close to the Westgate Mall and was at work when the attack started. Everyone has been on edge since it happened but people are calmer now. Great work you are doing with Daraja (nice name)! Planning on visiting “home” Kenya soon?
